Lighting the Way

In the District of Chetwynd four, 27 meter high windmills power 5,250 LED lights used to decorate a tree lined boulevard / Cleanairkit.ca

Street lights are a part of most BC communities’ infrastructure. A wide range of new lighting strategies and technologies are available, and retrofitting street lights can save local governments on energy costs and reduce corporate GHG emissions.

Complimentary Measures

Local governments often use Performance Contracting to undertake street lighting retrofits, and other energy retrofits.
