Resources North, FORREX and Green Heat Initiative invite you to attend a 3 day workshop starting with a field tour to local facilities on March 2, 2010.
Workshop topics will include:
• The New Low Carbon Economy: Where does Energy Development through Forest Fibre fit in?
• Overview of Biomass Conversion Systems
• Access to Forest Fibre
• First Nations Perspective - Implications of Title & Rights in relation to access to fibre
• Case Studies - Small and large scale Biomass Conversion Systems
• Partnership Models
• Review of Technologies
• Securing funding for your project
Participants will be taken to the locations by bus and will be departing from the Prince George Civic Centre. The number of participants is limited.
