TEDx Whistler: Tourism’s Place in a Sustainable World
During the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the Whistler Centre for Sustainabilityi will host TEDxWhistler: Tourism’s Place in a Sustainable World – a live event that will be webcast across the country and around the world featuring thought leaders in tourism and sustainability.
Presenters will be given up to 18 minutes to deliver their most compelling talks related to the theme and two recorded TEDTalks will also be selected from the hundreds of inspiring presentations available at TED.com.
There are a number of opportunities to participate in the event and we encourage people to connect with us leading up to and during the event. An engaging MC/host will welcome participants, introduce the speakers and facilitate the dialogue, which will engage the 100 invitees and the online global audience through micro-blogging and livestreaming.
