Agriculture Emissions Reduction Toolkit

The Ministry of Agriculture and Lands has prepared a Toolkit describing the role local governments can play in assisting the agriculture sector with greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) emission reduction.

The Toolkit explains how local governments can create plans and policies that help farmers make emissions reductions at their operation.

The Agriculture Emissions Reduction Toolkit explains:

  • Sources of agricultural GHG emissions and how they are measured within the Community Energy and Emissions Inventory here.
  • Actions to help reduce agricultural GHG emissions here.
  • The co-benefits of reducing agricultural GHG emissions here
  • Where to find additional resources here.
