Local governments across BC are constantly looking for new opportunities to reduce GHG emissions and improve energy and water efficiency in their communities. This can be challenging, particularly with so many competing priorities, and limited budgets and staff time. Learn how the RAP program can help meet local government sustainability objectives in the often underserved rental multi-family sector. Jordan Fisher will share accomplishments and lessons learned from this innovative FortisBC program the that has achieved tremendous success through collaboration with local governments and LandlordBC. 
RAP has been in the market for just 18 months and has already reduced 6,200 tCo2e and saved over 116 million liters of water. Over 16,000 residential units across BC have participated, with the highest participation rates coming from communities that have collaborated with FortisBC to promote the program. Learn how this innovative program can help local governments achieve their goals without straining their budgets or staff time by leveraging FortisBC’s resources.
